The Day After
So, in a slightly ambitious burst of inspiration, we decided to kick off the wedding day with a morning 5K. For the guests who resisted the temptation to hit snooze, we ran through the château grounds and the beautiful surrounding forest. The groom celebrated with an impromptu jump into the pool afterward, and then we all gathered in the dining room for hot coffee, flaky croissants, and pain au chocolat — because, France.
Oh, and then we celebrated the day after with an excursion to the beautiful village of Saint Emilion, followed by a surprise Mariachi band by the pool —- because, why not?
