Frequently Asked Questions
By what date should I RSVP?
Please RSVP by no later than February 28, 2025 and please include those in your party (spouse / partner, children, etc).
What is the address to the venue, and what is the best way to get there?
The address to the venue is 24490 La Roche-Chalais, France.
The venue is about 1 hour from the Bordeaux Airport by car.
You can take a rental car, taxi or Uber to the venue.
Is there parking available at the venue?
Yes, there is plenty of parking!
Will the wedding be indoors or outdoors?
Both! However, the ceremony will be outdoors.
Where are the nearest accommodations?
To ensure your utmost comfort and convenience, all rooms within the château have been reserved exclusively for our guests. The cost is $80 per person per night (children are free to stay).
All dining will be covered by the Bride & Groom throughout the weekend festivities. For accommodation arrangements, please follow the link located under the Travel Section.
Will there be a shuttle to and/or from the airport?
We are working on arranging a shuttle that would pick up guests from the Bordeaux train station which is not far from the airport. This information will be on the website as it becomes available.
Is there a dress code for the ceremony?
Yes, formal attire! :)
Can I bring a plus one?
Husbands, wives, and long-term partners are invited, and so are children.
That girl you just met on Hinge may need to skip this one…
Can I bring my children?
We encourage parents to embrace this destination wedding as a vacation of their own.
However we understand the difficulty of finding a nanny for such an event.
If you would like to bring your children, we would absolutely LOVE to have them and welcome them with open arms.
If you will be bringing your children, please give us a heads up on your RSVP including their names.
Children menus will be available.
What type of food will be served at your wedding?
Meals will be provided throughout the weekend and will include regional French specialties, with carnivore, vegan, gluten-free and vegetarian options for those who indicate these restrictions.
Please indicate these on your RSVP for each guest.
Will there be an open bar during the wedding?
Yes, and we hope it brings out your best dance moves!
Could you give me a link to your wedding registry?
Wedding registry can be found at the top left of our wedding page, however, we strongly encourage guests attending the wedding to use these funds for their flights and accommodations during their stay in Europe.
Where should we bring/send our wedding gift?
If you do purchase a wedding gift, the easiest option would be to send it to our home prior or after the wedding as it will be difficult to bring them home on the plane.
What is the wedding day itinerary?
Please see the detailed wedding schedule tab under “TRAVEL” at the top left of the wedding page.
Please note these times may shift.
Could you suggest places to eat, drink and see while I am in France?
Yes! We have created a Paris Recommendations tab under “TRAVEL” which will be added to periodically.
We are also working on recommendations for the rest of France! Please check back for this.
